There are many, easy ways to get involved with OPIRG-Brock. You can even track your volunteer experience with us on Experience Plus through Career Services.

Some ways to get involved:
Join a working group: there are many interesting working groups with OPIRG Brock -check our website for one that interests you and contact them or us, to get involved.
Start your own working group: though the deadline passed for this year, we've still got a few openings for new working groups - got something you'd like to organize and educate people about - a working group is a great opportunity to do just that!
Volunteer in the office: We always need resource support in the office; updating old resources, ordering new ones, and general maintenance of our alternative resource library.
Staff the OPIRG-Brock Tables in Mackenzie Chown A Block: every Wednesday from 11-2 we have a table in MC A block to let people know about OPIRG and the great things we have to offer. We're always looking for someone to spend an hour or two staffing the table for us to
let interested people know about us.
Want to tell the world about something you care about? Let us help: though you may be hesitant to start your own working group OPIRG Brock can help you facilitate an event on a certain issue you are passionate about. We can provide you with a budget and all the resources you need to get your event off the ground.
Help us publicize our events: We've often got events going on and we need help getting the word out. This can be as simple as putting up posters for us, or even getting up in front of your class and telling them what is going on.
