BlogsBottled Water in Niagara Falls
Frank Fohr, Council of Canadian member will be presenting to Niagara Falls City Council on Monday a recommendation to eliminate the sale of bottled water at City facilities. However, Nestle will also be presenting to Council in an attempt to persuade Council not to support the recommendation. As such, I implore you to join at Monday's meeting in support of Frank Fohr!!! Carpools will be leaving the OPIRG office at Brock University on Monday at 6pm. PLEASE MEET AT THE OPIRG OFFICE, 204 STUDENT ALUMNI BUILDING, AT 5:25 MONDAY FEBRUARY 23RD!!!! We will be staging a protest against bottled water outside the Niagara Falls city hall, as well as attending the meeting to make sure Nestle is held accountable and doesn't misrepresent the dangers! I look forward to seeing you all Monday (if you are a driver, and would be willing to squish some bottled water dissenters into your car, please email me asap!)
